It is the ongoing mission of the Christ the King Lutheran Youth Ministry to provide meaningful opportunities to:

NURTURE the faith of the youth of Christ the King,

WORSHIP God,

RELATE to one another,

SERVE the Church and community,

REACH out to youth who don’t know Jesus as their Savior.

LIGHT FORCE (5th/ 6th Grade Ministry)

This ministry serves the youth and families of Christ the King Church and School, and the community. They currently meet on the last Sunday of the month, from 4:00-5:00pm. Check the newsletter for details.

Past Events have been youth Bible studies, singing at a nursing home and bowling.

LIFT (Living In Faith Together) 7th/8th Grade Ministry

The junior high ministry serves the youth of Christ the King Church and School, and the community. Here is some information:

LIFT  2nd and 4th Sundays @  5:00-6:30pm

LIFT OFF is a time for the youth to have games in the gym and youth room, eat together, have a Bible Study together, and get to know other youth.

Location: Youth Room

High School Ministry

The high school ministry currently offers the following activities.

SNAC (Sunday Night After Church)

Weekly, Sunday evening @  6:30-8:30pm

Bible Study,, Fellowship and Service.

Location: Youth Room

Small Groups, Wednesdays 7:00-8:00pm

A time for youth to unwind in the middle of the week with other youth. Bible study, share time and growing.

Location: Youth Room

Past High School Activities 

Youth activities have included ski trips, mission trips to Mexico, retreats to East Tennessee or Olean Springs MS, Christian concerts and Soup Kitchen.

Jackie a friend of Taylor's is having tests on what is causing Headaches
(She is hoping to be able to be back to school by next quarter)
Unspoken  Joe Raines 18th birthday
Raimond Freshman at Harding has a Brain Tumor and they have stopped treatment.
He does not have long to live. Pray for comfort for him and his family and friends. 
Pray for Peace
Pray for Bryan Merritt's girlfriend Ingrid to feel better.
Drew Hill's dad goes to Vanderbilt March 1 for tests and to start looking for a bone marrow match. 
Also, continue to lift up his sister's pregnancy.

Drew's dad he may have tobe at Vanderbilt for 3 months instead of 3 weeks
Dres's sister and her pregnancy
Holly- Her friends sister died in a car wreck (comfort and healing)
Taylor- Her friends mom was in a car wreck
Jesse and Sarah- Continued strength for thier grandmother
Michael- unspoken

PRAISES:
Laura and  Cassie, for not being hurt in their car wreck
Sarah's grandmother being able to get out of the house and move around
